enero

so this month started out with a fun party and then I got sick. the next week we got window put in trough out the house and were left with two projects due to the windows. More painting in our family room and the upstairs office. We finished the family room on Saturday night and the office is about 75% done. I need to do the molding all over and then we can move and set up the desk. after that i need to move out the dresser on the map wall and paint the non map part... hopefully i will have my office back my tonight.

Winnie is doing well growing a lot and is now signed up for some training.

And I took it from him

And I saw it in his face

And it's tearin me apart

Bill and I were flipping channels last night and low and behold we caught the start of braveheart. so of course we had to watch... and then this afternoon what should we see but the start of the untouchables --again we had no choice but to watch.... but a question for all of you:

what are you prepared to do

Winnie!

We picked up our dog Winnie on Saturday. She suffered shell shock the first 5 hours as we drove her home. She has increasingly become more comfortable around us, making our lives more difficult as NO and OWCH become common place words in our vocabulary. She is 9 weeks old (about the equivalent of a 14mo old). she likes to chew (on everything) and is very playful when she isn't sleeping. She loves peanut butter in her "kong" and her jerky treats she gets when she "goes" outside. We hope that as she gets more used to us and our home she will calm down a little (probably a pipe dream).

Christmas has been a bit different, but its been a nice day. It was warm here today and all the snow we got last weekend (all 12") is gone. Bill and I spent today at home with the dog and had our nice Christmas dinner in hoodies. We hope that next year we will spend Christmas with my family as it's been 3 years now.
