Tuesday afternoon: mimicing Frank edition

Well, we're back from our whirl-wind visit to Cleveland. The wedding itself was a beautiful ceremony outside, dinner was fabulous (i think that food was better than most mid to upper priced restaurants in Chicago, and it was for 100+ people) and the dancing was fun... BUT it was very hot and some people had too much to drink and ruined the night for others. I guess when you get a large group of party people together these things just happen.

It was great to see the kids and my aunties. It was nice to chat with mimi and giddo after the party. And it was good to have breakfast with dad... who makes a mean banana cream pie.

What about your mother, you ask? Well we saw each other, but as she is visiting in 2 days, we didn't spend much time catching up.

I have a few good pics from the wedding and might post some later when i have our computer.

Up to bat this week: more work on our family room, mom's visit, and maybe finally getting my house back to its normal chaos instead of the heightened version that's been going on now for 3 weeks.

And, not that I would forget it ever, but the events of 6 years ago today have flashed through my mind throughout today. Let's leave it at that.
