Bill and I were back in Cleveland this weekend for my 10 year HS reunion. We saw some of my old high school friends, visited with family and completed the trip with a speeding ticket from the Independence police (sigh) . But enough about our weekend -- let's talk cake.

I made Mom's chocolate Kahlua cake tonight. I had been promising it to Bill since his birthday (March 30th), so it is long over due. Let me list the ingredients so that you better understand our love affair with this cake: 1 box of devils food cake (with pudding in the mix!), 1pt sour cream, 1 small box of instant chocolate pudding, 4 eggs, 1/2 c oil, 1/3 c Kahlua, and a 6 oz package of chocolate chips. Mix and put in a pre-greased bunt pan and in 50 min you have one of the tastiest cakes int he world. if only i could make enough to give to all the people at war and angry with one another. I think you could seriously solve some problems with this cake.
