A discussion
Was what Gov. Taft did wrong, or are they prosecuting him on a technicality because they can't link him to the bigger crime?
personailly what they convicted him on was stupid, but like Gov. Ryan and Mayor D in chicago Taft is not stupid enough to be caught in the bigger scandle.
And yes if a dem becomes gov. in 2006 because of this, it could very well effect the next pres election, but i think oil prices will effect it more so.
