COLD COLD COLD

so it is cold here. not brr i'm chilly cold but that kind of cold that if you were in a video game would drain your green life bar (yes too much wii). it is so cold that i just had to temporarily move my plant from my window because i touched it and it was colder than a plan should get. so now my 2 and 1/2 year old plant which has vines over 5 ft is sitting on the ledge in front of my wipe board and all the tangle of green is distracting me every time i look up at my screen. I really should repot this thing but can you imagine this taking the 30 min metra ride in and our of the city? and if i do repot it i think the pot will become too big and too heavy for my radiator which is where i have it sitting.

and yes if you caught that i sit my plant on the radiator next to the window... probably a sign that the radiator is just for show when the pant is fraking freezing.

meanwhile it is the last day of the month, and while i have been productive these last few days i am behind in finishing things. oh well for one month i get stuff to do and the next two are super slow... i don't really mind it too much if the busy time trickles into an extra week or so.

Not spending money and staying inside is harder than it sounds.... esp when there are Costco's to visit and macadamia nut crusted chickens to eat and most importantly other people to shop for. I guess the last thing didn't spend our money and it was fun! but we certainly speant more time out and about in the cold weather than I expected.

Bill is forging ahead with Link, Epona and the crew. maybe I can take a pic tonight.

work is work though I am happy to be mostly on track this quarter with my reporting.

Next weekend is the super bowl. my company doesn't do any fun squares thing or wear your blue and orange to work thing.... though I am finding I have many more uses for that orange side of my two sided vest, scarf and hat (the other side is pink!) I think frank will need to get some blue corn chips and some orange soda like they had set up at the grocery store.

not much else to report here. the house hunt is offically on.... but it has been unoffically on for so long that it no longer seems like news. Yay preapproval! yay new house! yay being broke for the rest of my life -- oh i mean booooo!

So the bears won... I didn't think they would... but neither did anyone else. now we enter the super bowl. booyah.

Maybe the Bears players thrive on the lower expectations or the constant undercutting in the press.

so here we are and it is friday and guess what Bill and I are doing...

...the same thing we've done all week. we are currently on episode 9 of season 2...

i must say i really hate all kim related sorty lines.... and sherry palmer pisses me off too.
